How it Works

Setting up the Guardfather Security System is simple and straightforward. You’ll be guided every step of the way with our easy-to-follow how-to videos on YouTube—no guesswork, no stress.

1. Plug in the Control Panel

   The control panel is the brain of your system. Just plug it into a wall socket and connect it to your router using the included Ethernet cable. You can also insert a SIM card as an optional backup in case your internet ever drops out.

2. Connect to the App

   Download the Guardfather app and create your account. Then, scan the barcode on the back of your control panel to link it to your phone. The app currently has the following languages available: English, Portuguese, Chinese, Dutch, French with more coming soon.

3. Add Your Wireless Devices

   Each sensor, siren, and remote has its own barcode. Simply scan them one by one to add them to your system—it’s quick, wireless, and hassle-free.

4. Install with Confidence

   Mount everything yourself using our YouTube tutorials, hosted by Simon Security Expert. Whether it’s your first time or your fifth, we’ll guide you through it. You will also be provided with a dedicated WhatsApp support number upon arrival of your system for extra help if required.

5. Control Everything from the App

   Arm and disarm your system, adjust settings, and check alerts—all from your phone. The app puts total control in your hands, wherever you are.

6. Relax—You’re Protected

   Once installed, your Guardfather system quietly goes to work, securing your home or business around the clock. All devices connect wirelessly and come with long-life batteries that last for years.
